Hand-painted sneakers get asked about more than almost anything else in our catalog — usually the same handful of questions. So instead of a generic product description, here's a straight answer to what people actually want to know.
How they're made
We start with a plain canvas sneaker base — not pre-printed — and hand-paint the design directly onto the shoe using the same enamel-based paints used on truck panels, chosen specifically because they're built to handle vibration, weather, and constant handling on the road. That durability translates directly to a shoe that gets walked in daily.
Will the paint crack or fade?
With normal wear, no — the paint is sealed after painting the same way a truck panel is finished, so it flexes with the canvas rather than sitting as a brittle top layer. What shortens the life of any painted shoe (not specific to us) is repeated soaking, machine washing, or scrubbing the painted area directly. Wipe clean with a damp cloth instead, and they'll hold their color for a long time.
Custom designs
Beyond our standing designs (florals, rickshaw motifs, classic truck-art panels), we take custom requests — a specific color palette, initials worked into the design, or a request to match a particular truck art style you've seen. Custom orders take longer than our ready designs, so if it's for a specific event (a wedding, a birthday), it's worth ordering with more lead time than you'd give a standard pair.
Sizing
Because these are hand-finished on a standard canvas sneaker base, sizing runs true to normal shoe sizing — there's no special sizing adjustment needed for the painted design itself. If you're between sizes, size up rather than down, since canvas sneakers in general run slightly snug before they're broken in.
Who actually buys these
Two very different buyer types show up for the same product: people who want a genuine daily-wear statement sneaker, and people buying as a gift for someone who's into art, sneaker culture, or Pakistani design specifically — often someone living abroad who wants something distinctly Pakistani that isn't a generic souvenir.
